The Antonine Wall was an Earth and Turf Wall built by the Romans brom the Firth of Clyde to the Firth of Forth ca 142 AD. It was on this wall that the progenator of about 1/2 ot the Kirkpatricks and Colquhouns, a soldier from Thrace, was quartered.
