Friday dawned for our final day of our
LAS VEGAS ADVENTURE
We started by going to the EMPEROR'S BUFFET at the Imperial Palace (price $27.99 for 2). Next we started DOWN the strip, stopping at THE FLAMINGO to buy tickets for the DONNY AND MARIE SHOW at 7:30, following the NATHAN BURTON COMEDY MAGIC SHOW. From there we trecked down to the NEW YORK, NEW YORK HOTEL AND CASINO. As you can see, they made the hotel to duplicate the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building, New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty, a roller coaster (ala Coney Island), and replicas of the Brooklyn Bridge, Soldiers and Sailors Monument, the Whitney Museum of American Art, Ellis Island, and Grand Central Terminal, among other things.

From here we shopped our way back to the hotel room for a short rest before returning to THE FLAMINGO for the 4 P.M. NATHAN BURTON SHOW. We purchased a VIP upgrade for our tickets and sat at a booth close to the stage.
Nathan had also appeared on AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, in season one. His best trick was to have a large poster of himself rolled up and put into the barrel of a cannon which was then fired. Streamers and confetti shout out along with the smoe. As the smoke cleared, Nathan was standing next to one of the judges, who was amazed. Nathan also had a meet and greet session following the show where he posed for pictures and signed autographs. We purchased his CD which he autographed.

After this we stopped for a cookie and coffee before time to enter the theater for
THE DONNY AND MARIE SHOW It was good, but WAY too lod. Suz had to remove her hearing aid and stick a finger in her ear to be comfortable.

Donny and Marie did NOT have a meet and greet after their show. I guess they're "too big" to meet with their fans.
Following the show we returned to our hotel room to pack and turn in.
P.S.: the ONLY gambling we did was to feed the 5 cent slots at the airport. We put in a total of $3.00 and came away with $4.20 so I guess you can say we actually came home winners. All in all, this was a good trip and we are already planning to do it again next year in March.
